History: Born aboard the SSV Calypso to an Alliance officer father and an engineer mother, Deacon spent most of his life jumping from ship to ship with his family until he finally enrolled at 18. Having gone through vigorous training simulations on luna it was discovered very quickly that deacon was a lone wolf operations wise, fully capable of completing mission on his own, has been trusted to undertake some highly volatile missions were an entire unit would draw too much attention, Rayne was also the first man to arrive on scen from his unit during the skyllian blitz, where he met his mentor and trainer commander shepard, and helped to hold off what shepard had left of the attacking pirates
